“Breathe Easy—We’re Here for You!” is the social program of the Association for Baromedical Development and Research, created for patients who need hyperbaric oxygen therapy but cannot afford the cost of treatment.

In its initial phase, the program is intended for individuals with orthopedic or neurological conditions, or complications from diabetes, for whom hyperbaric oxygen therapy is medically indicated.

‍

Conditions included in this category include:

• aseptic bone necrosis, bone infections, radiation necrosis, and multiple trauma;
• post-stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and myelitis;
• ischemic ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure ulcers.

We want access to recommended treatment to be determined by actual medical need, not just by the patient’s financial means.

We have created a simple registration and assessment process through which patients can request support at no cost.

The patient fills out the online form, submits the necessary medical documents, and the application is reviewed according to the program’s eligibility criteria. Eligible patients are contacted and referred to medical partners for a consultation and, once eligibility is confirmed, to schedule hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions.

The support provided includes several free sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, depending on medical indications, eligibility, and the program's available resources.
