The real impact of our involvement: 1785 sponsored hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions

The Association for Baromedical Research and Development was created out of a desire to make a real difference to people's lives. From the very beginning, we set out to bring modern therapies closer to those who really need them, but who can't always afford easy access to expensive treatments. Today, we are proud to announce a major achievement: we have sponsored 1785 hyperbaric therapy sessions for patients across the country.

This figure is not just a number. Behind every session is a story - a person, a hope, a struggle with a chronic condition, an old pain or a recent trauma. Through our joint effort and thanks to the support we have received from donors, partners and supporters, we have been able to give these patients a real chance at recovery.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is an innovative and effective method that can support the body in many conditions. Although used successfully in many countries, access to this type of therapy remains limited in Romania, especially for patients without financial resources. This is where our mission came in: to fill this gap and bring balance where it was needed.

Whether we are talking about patients with avascular necrosis, neurological disorders or diabetic foot, the sponsored sessions have made a visible contribution to improving the quality of life and, in many cases, to resuming daily activities. We have witnessed moving developments, where hope has returned to the faces of those who had lost faith in the possibility of a functional future.

This initiative would not have been possible without the constant support of the community. Every donation, however small, has turned into an opportunity. Every partnership has been a bridge to more lives changed. And every patient who has crossed our doorstep has given us the motivation to keep going.

We continue to believe that modern medicine should be accessible to all. That is why our plans do not stop here. We want to expand our sponsorship program, offer more sessions, reach more patients and develop new research projects in the field of hyperbaric medicine.
