At the Association for Baromedical Development and Research (ADCB), we believe that access to innovative, life-saving medical treatments should not depend on a patient’s financial means. For this reason, we have created the Social Program, an initiative through which we offer free hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions to people in need.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves inhaling pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. Although it is an extremely effective method for treating chronic wounds, burns, and tissue necrosis, as well as for post-stroke recovery, the costs of equipment and specialized personnel often make this treatment difficult to access.
Through this program, ADCB covers the financial burden for critical social cases, using funds raised through donations and sponsorships.
